- Check and reply to messages every day at least once during
the working week. If other timetables have been set up
for checking messages then follow these diligently
- Be flexible and reasonable
- Do not condemn or insult
- Take your time thinking about suggestions
- Be creative in your solutions
- Show a willingness to resolve the dispute
- Be willing to compromise
- If you are unable to actively participate in the mediation
sessions for a period of time advise the Mediator and other
parties.
- Try to respond as soon as possible to the requests from
the Mediator or other parties for any answers or feedback
or Information.
- Consult an attorney when you need legal advice
- Consult professionals when needed eg, real estate practitioner,
Investment broker etc
- Communicate any problems or queries regarding the mediation
to the Mediator
